About us

The most gentle, clean, slow and sensitive baby care. This is Shantala.

Bea Bilek - Shantala

My name is Bea Bilek, I am a nurse and certified shantala therapist with several years of experience. I have found a way to help parents with a holistic and personalized approach after the birth of their baby. I opened the first baby spa in Slovakia.

I gained my professional experience in the neonatal ward, where I spent 11 years. Thanks to my experience with both babies and mothers, I know what worries them in the postpartum period. At Shantala Baby Spa, I have found a connection between classical medicine and alternative methods. I help babies and their parents with various difficulties such as colic, silent reflux or postpartum trauma.

2012 - Completion of the St. Elizabeth's College of Health Sciences.

2018 - Completion of the certified course in Ayurvedic Baby Massage.

2018 - Course in Soundhealing Therapy.

2019 - Course in Proper Manipulation for proper psychomotor development for the baby.

My name is Andrea Halomi. I am a nurse with 10 years of experience in the neonatal unit. I am also a certified infant massage instructor.

It was Bea who brought me to baby massage. Her idea, desire and commitment to help families captivated me right at the beginning. When I became the mother of our Julie, experiencing the magic of Shantala firsthand was magical.

I often attribute both how Julie is developing and her success so far to massage.
I claim to have a sober outlook on things myself. Shantala is a place that has fulfilled me from the very beginning, and I am grateful to be a part of it.

"Massaging babies is an ancient and salutary art. Simple and difficult at the same time.
It is difficult because it is easy.
Like everything that is beneficial."

Frederick Leboyer

Shantala comes from India. She was a woman who massaged orphanage children in the greatest poverty. Indian baby massage was brought to Europe by the French gynaecologist and pioneer of alternative obstetrics Frederick Leboyer. Today, Shantala is synonymous with the softest touch you can give a baby.

Parents' feelings and impressions

We received a gift certificate for the Premium Online Course before our son was born. We started massaging his tummy right after he was born and gradually moved on to full body massage. I have to admit that we had a hard time with our first son in the first few months due to colic and reflux. We were worried that we were going to have the same thing with our second baby.Luckily, we were able to work around it. The massages not only helped with digestion but also helped us sleep better. I would recommend the online course to any mom. Great first aid for at home.

Regards, Gabika.

We had a premature baby, among other health problems our baby was suffering from increased muscle tone and poor digestion. We practiced Vojta regularly and the physiotherapist also recommended baby massage. Since we are from Žilina, an online course was the solution for us. At first we were skeptical because our baby is impatient, but gradually he got used to the gentle massage and we were enchanted as he enjoyed the gentle touches, the massage ritual before his evening bath. It was really cool that we could turn on the massage whenever we needed and repeat the massage procedure. The massage is explained in detail and learning with you was great.
Thank you for all your help.

We received a gift card for an online anticollision massage. The course has a head and a toe, everything explained brilliantly and not only the massage but also helpful advice. Super, highly recommended✨

Our Lea was a very crying, sensitive baby from birth. She was sensitive to foreign environments, so we chose to take an online course so we could learn to massage her at home- in her familiar surroundings. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly we grew to love massage. I also feel that because of the regular massage, our little one gained confidence, was calmer and so was I. When I forgot something from the massage, we could easily go back to the video, which I think is a big advantage.
Everything explained in detail, really professional work🤗

We had a crying baby at home for a few weeks until we tried your online course. Too bad we didn't do it sooner. Massage is a love at our house, we don't miss a day. We are now 5 months old, our baby is the king of wellness. We always play meditation music too. These are our quiet moments together. Parents don't hesitate, it's a great investment. Shantala we salute you 😍

Marica

Our baby was suffering from colic, he was gagging, crying, waking up from sleep. Apparently she couldn't poop. We had tried everything from youtube before and nothing worked. We were suspicious, but said we'd give this one one last try. We bought an online anticolic course, started following your advice, massaging regularly even 3 times a day and the changes were coming. After 2 weeks we stopped using the tube and our son finally started pooping on his own. Excellent and detailed explanation of massage which also helps 🙏 Thank you Shantala for your pomoc♥️

Hi Shantala, we don't usually write reviews, but we'll make an exception for you because you're really great. Excellent course, you've put a lot of effort into it. Professional work all round. We felt like we were sitting with you. We already know the massage by heart, but sometimes we turn on the video to soak up the beautiful atmosphere. Thank you🫶

Our baby was born prematurely. We practice the Vojta method, we regularly go for neurological check-ups, our son is troubled by hypertonic stiff muscles. He can't relax, he still cramps up at night. The doctor recommended baby massage and we haven't found such an option anywhere in our area. I found your online classes. I don't like to learn online, but after considering the situation, I decided to go for it.
Great peace of mind coming from you, very clearly and simply presented information. With a good heart I recommend you to every mom.

Michaela

We have our first baby and we are inexperienced parents. After giving birth, we bought a premium course so we know what to do when the tummy ache comes. The colic thankfully didn't come, but we fell in love with my husband's loving ritual. It's amazing to watch how he can soothe the baby with a massage, then fall into a deep sleep. The massage is excellently explained, the online course is really top notch. We are glad we tried it, we only gained🙏

Mary

Our daughter suffers from silent reflux and planning to go somewhere with her is really an art. She is very restless and as a mom I am also always stressed when I have to go away from home with her, her crying stresses me out. That's why I decided to rather, learn, massage her at home. I was advised that massage can also help for reflux. It was harder in the beginning to find the right time to massage, but eventually we mastered the whole massage. Trying the Shantala online course was a good decision, I can only recommend it.
